Dedicated to the memory of Patricia Urch

To remember Patricia Maria Erzsebet Urch (neƩ Hair) wife to Dr David Urch, mother to Michael, Nicholas, Katie, Matthew and Adam and grandmother to Philippa, Christopher, Sophie, William, Hannah, Izzy , Isaac and Ruby.

She passed peacefully at home on Tuesday 18th February 2025

To us she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and wife, always putting the welfare of her loved ones before her own. We always felt safe and secure in the home she created for us, usually filled with the delicious smells of freshly baked bread and homemade dinners.

Patricia was born in Budapest 1935 and lived there until 1940. She had a nomadic wartime childhood, moving first to Moscow, then Kuibyshev (now Samara) in 1941, when the embassy was transferred, and finally travelling to Kashmir. At the end of the war, she completed her schooling in north London and then studied History at QMC where she met, fell in love with and later married David. They bought a house in Richmond, where she happily lived out the rest of her life with her parents and growing family.

Funeral will be at 12 Noon Friday 11th April 2025

There will be refreshments in the Church hall following the service.
